I used to watch the tv show Buck Rogers but had more fun playing the computer games.
The Commodore 64 version was called Countdown to Doomsday and it was ported to the early IBM systems. There were two games ported to the IBM and Electronic Arts published it for the Sega Genesis.
It is very similar to the Dungeon and Dragon games. Just set in space.
The C64 version came with a book about Buck Rogers adventures and I believe nine books were released in all.
I spent a lot of time playing the game and reading that same book over and over.
Just wondering if anyone else was a fan of the tv show or games?

Yeah I liked the tv show and movie. Twiki's voice was the bomb back then!
I rented and played the Genesis version of Countdown to Doomsday.
And there was the Planet of Zoom game in the 80s! I think I played one of the ports once at a store, or maybe the arcade game once, I don't recall (been a while on all of this, obviously!).
